Our Journey Together

It all started at a beach volleyball game. Like for most couples, the two versions of how we met don't fully align. So, we agreed to skip the details and jump to the net. It might have been a nice set from me, or a killer spike from him, but it didn't take us long to create our own celebratory dance and bond on and off the court. Well...it took a while to bond off the court, since Simon asked me out only 9 months after we first met. Since then, we always agreed to take it slow. But on our second date, Simon met half of my friends. After a month, my family knew about him and inquired about this guy that I'd Facetime in the middle of the night from Italy. And, to keep it slow, 9 months after we officially started dating, we found out we were expecting which, believe it or not, had been talked about many times in our "slow plans talks." Cherry on the cake, just a week short of our 1 year dating anniversary, we promised eternal love to each other, in front of a beautiful sunset at the beach and the people who have walked by our sides since day one.
